GREEN PEEL® is the dermatologically developed original herbal peeling treatment by Dr. med. Christine Schrammek. This natural method has been established since 1958 and is offered in over 70 countries. With four treatment variants, it provides effective solutions for various skin concerns and is exclusively available at certified salons and medical practices.

There are four variants: Classic, Energy, Fresh Up and Hair. Classic is the most intensive variant for skin renewal, with visible peeling. Energy and Fresh Up work without visible peeling, and Hair is designed for the scalp and thinning hair. All treatment variants provide an immediate, noticeable effect.

The herbal peeling offers the following treatments: Fresh Up is suitable for tired, dull skin and provides a quick freshness boost. Energy is ideal when skin needs regeneration, vitality and improvement without visible peeling. Classic is the intensive choice for more pronounced skin concerns such as scars, sun-damaged skin or sagging tissue. Hair is designed for hair loss and thinning hair.

This depends on your skin or hair goals. Fresh Up often has an immediate revitalizing effect, Energy is frequently used as a treatment series, Classic is an intensive treatment with Beauty Finish after 5 days and possible repetition after 4 to 6 weeks. For Hair, ideally 3 treatments at 4-week intervals are recommended.

Proper home care is just as important as the treatment itself.

For GREEN PEEL® Classic, the included „Classic“ Home Care Set must be used consistently, as the success of the treatment depends significantly on home care in the following days. The Beauty Finish treatment on the sixth day is also mandatory.

For GREEN PEEL® Energy, there is one of three individually tailored Home Care Sets – Vitality, Regulating and Hydrating – which is typically provided after the treatment.

For lasting and sustainable results, we recommend using Dr. med. Schrammek derma.cosmetics skincare products specifically designed for GREEN PEEL®, as they specifically support the treatment at home and can extend the results; depending on skin condition, additional ampoules, masks or sun protection may also be beneficial.

Generally not. In all three methods, our GREEN PEEL® herbs are massaged into the skin, which can be associated with tingling and prickling sensations depending on pressure intensity and skin condition. However, this doesn’t cause pain – at most, the herbal massage may be somewhat uncomfortable. The stronger method, GREEN PEEL® Classic, differs from the two lighter methods mainly in pressure intensity and duration. While it’s not a wellness treatment, it’s quite tolerable and immediately shows that it’s working.

Yes, basically at any time of year. However, after a Classic treatment, intense sun exposure should initially be avoided because the fresh, renewed skin is more sensitive to UV radiation.

No, the skin is young and fresh after a GREEN PEEL® treatment. Of course, this skin needs special care. With each GREEN PEEL®, your skin becomes stronger, firmer and more resilient. Metabolism is stimulated, microcirculation and the interlocking of skin layers are improved. This in turn ensures that the skin receives more oxygen and nutrients. The connective tissue fibers (collagen and elastin fibers) are activated, and waste products are removed.

GREEN PEEL® is based on a medically refined and globally proven biological method that is purely natural. It’s safe and can be used for almost any skin type, requires no equipment and solves a variety of skin problems.

A fruit acid peel, on the other hand, is a chemical peel based on lactic, citric, malic and tartaric acids. Fruit acid peels are preferably performed only during months with less sun, as extreme care must be taken regarding sun exposure during summer months. With fruit acid peels, 8-10 sessions at weekly intervals are necessary before results are visible.

Microneedling is a relatively new instrument for treating aesthetic skin problems. Here, numerous small needles are used to create minor injuries in the skin at shallow depth, stimulating self-regeneration. Additionally, active ingredients are introduced into the skin during this device-based cosmetic treatment. Some skin problems can be improved with microneedling, such as scars, wrinkles, and stretch marks.

No. How much the skin peels varies individually. Even if visible peeling is minimal, the desired renewal and regeneration process in the skin still proceeds as intended.

No, every skin is individual. How intense the peeling will be cannot be predicted before treatment. For most clients, skin peeling begins on day 3 after treatment. By day 5, after the Beauty Finish treatment, the process is largely complete. If you absolutely don’t want to be seen in public during the peeling process, you should schedule the herbal peeling treatment for a Wednesday. The peeling process will then take place over the weekend. The mandatory Beauty Finish follow-up treatment follows on Monday.

Yes. Classic, Energy and Fresh Up can be used on face and body. Hair is the special variant for the scalp, which stimulates it and thus implicitly affects the hair.

No. GREEN PEEL® is not an acid treatment and not a chemical peeling method. The treatment is based on natural herbs and is described as a biological, dermatologically refined method. It’s purely natural and contains no chemical substances or abrasive particles.
